SUPPORT has been strong once again from the people of the Three Towns for the annual Saltcoats fireworks display.
The event is championed by Councillor Jim Montgomerie, who had a spark of inspiration to stage an event which the community could rally round.
Among the businesses to lend a hand were Nonsuch in Saltcoats. Manager Gemma Keenan was delighted to give her backing to the venture, which is now firmly fixed on the calendar with this year’s extravaganza attracting a good turnout.
Gemma is pictured handing over a cheque for £100 to Councillor Montgomerie, who said: "This will go a long way towards helping cover the cost of the fireworks. Thanks go to everyone who supported the event."
