THIS year the Cumnock Chronicle is looking for a deserving family who deserve some festive magic.

Do you know parents who have really gone above and beyond for their kids?

Are you struggling to keep up financially this Christmas but want your kids to have the best?

Let us know a Cumnock or Doon Valley family who you think should win a free pass to this year’s Cinderella pantomime.

We are offering free tickets to children and their care takers who merit a special treat this year.

They could have had a hard year and need the break, have overcome or are battling an illness, or maybe did something outstanding for their community.

E-mail kirsty.feerick@newsquest.co.uk with the family you think have earned the tickets the past year and why.

And the fun doesn’t stop there with youngsters also being offered the chance to see behind the scenes and discover the magic of panto.

Residents can join in all the fun at the Pantomania Day on Saturday, December 7.

This is a special adventure where you will be taken on a backstage tour of the Cinderella set, get the opportunity to meet and greet some of the characters, try on colourful panto costumes, and explore some theatrical makeup. To finish off you’ll create your own slapstick routines, sing songs and explore pantomime characters.

Tickets are just £12 for a fun day of activities from 10am- 3pm. Book now from the Palace Theatre Box Office on 01563 554900 or online at eastayrshireleisure.com

Those taking part in the Pantomania Day can purchase a discounted Cinderella ticket for the evening performance for just £12.
