Dalrymple residents turned out in force for the annual Hallowe’en Lantern walk last week.
Residents dressed up in some of their scariest costumes to frighten the ghosts from the village and enjoy toffee apples.
The night was organised by the Dalrymple Community Landscape Project with support from volunteers and businesses in the village.
DCLT said: “You ghost hunters are amazing Dalrymple is officially ghost free. A huge thank you to our volunteers who made tonight such a great success, to our magnificent ghosts, stewards, Bellita Salon for their terrific window, everyone who distributed sweets, The White Horse Inn – you guys are great – and again to Larry Sweeney who made and donated all the apples with able assistant Anne Fairlie.”
