FAMILIES who can’t afford stamps to send their letters to Santa are relying on your help.
Children who are expecting father Christmas to arrive at their house this year could be left disapointed as some parents struggle to come up with cash.
But now the Co-Op funeral care in Cumnock are collecting toys for underprivileged children who might have to go without.
Toys can be handed in to Co-op Funeralcare Cumnock from now until 29th November.
All brand new toys collected will be going to Hillhouse charity to be distributed to those most in need in time for Christmas.
The second hand toys should be in good, clean, working order and they will be put into a toy sale and all money raised will go to a charity.
Toys can be handed in to Cumnock Funeralcare, 44 Glaisnock Street.
It comes as Council chiefs have teamed up with community champions to tackle poverty this month.
The signatories stressed that the partners believe poverty has no place in a Fairer, Kinder, Connected East Ayrshire
