P1 children from Stanley Primary invited their parents into the school for a special afternoon tea to socialise and meet other parents.
The kids had been learning to bake delicious scones in class in preparation for the event, which was held in the school on Thursday, October 24.
Ms McGregor, P1 teacher, said that the class had been “busy all week making scones and baking for the afternoon tea”.
The children’s scones were so popular at the event that the parents were given the opportunity to take home the baking kits so the kids can now remake them to enjoy at home.
Herald photographer Charlie Gilmour was at the afternoon tea to capture the fun.
