SPOOKY residents descended on Dalmellington for a hauntingly good time.
A community Hallowe’en party for all ages was a huge success with everyone getting into the scary spirit.
Locals pulled out their best costumes at the weekend as ‘The Spooky Family Hallowe’en Disco’ kicked off at the Community Centre in Dalmellington.
Families attended the spooky party with parents and kids alike promised a fun disco if they came in fancy dress armed with their best joke, or song.
Organisers said: “Wow! What a turnout tonight for Spooky Saturday. Great night enjoyed by all. Winners were best fancy dress Sandy McFadzean and Lucy McLean (under 5s), Kai Milligan and Riley McCulloch (Over 5s), Best Pumpkins were Jamie Dunlop and Jess White. Best Adult fancy dress was Jennifer Dunn and Frank Gormanley. Best dancers were Cara Kiers and Rory. Thanks to Cllr Elaine Dinwoodie and DJ Ryan for judging, all DCA volunteers and everyone who came along.”
