Cumnock Academy staff and pupils took part in the Great Scottish Run 10K to raise funds for the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH).
A fantastic £1,997 has been raised by the group of 25 so far, with the added bonus of everyone having a great day.
Mr Shepherd, organiser of the event, would like to thank all who took part in the event, all who donated through various forms of sponsorship and all office and ancillary staff at the school who helped with the organising.
Mauchline bus company, Milligan’s, gave the group a largely reduced rate of transport to and from Glasgow, as well as giving a donation towards the charity.
SAMH is Scotland’s national mental health charity which works with adults and young people providing mental health social care support.
