AN exhibition celebrating Egypt is now open at Baird Institute in Cumnock.
Invited guests and pupils from Barshare Primary School joined exhibition curator Dr Daniel Potter and East Ayrshire Leisure curator Bruce Morgan for the formal opening of the exhibition.
Discovering Ancient Egypt is a National Museums Scotland touring exhibition which will examine Scotland’s contribution to Egyptology through the lives of three remarkable people whose work in the field helped to improve our understanding of ancient Egyptian culture.
Access is free so don’t miss the chance to view this incredible exhibition which continues until Saturday, December 14. Baird Institute is open Thursday 12.30-4.40pm and 5-8pm, Friday and Saturday 10am-4pm.
