Mrs Jean McMurdo from Logan writes:
I wish to express my sincere thanks to my family, friends and neighbours for the kindness shown following my accident on August 17, and during the resulting weeks in hospital.
I am blessed to have had such wonderful and continuing support, which is greatly appreciated.
I am grateful also to the NHS and the dedicated people who serve their patients so well.
The staff in Station 10 of Ayr Hospital helped me to begin my recovery, which continued in Burnoch Ward in East Ayrshire Community Hospital. We are fortunate to have such an excellent facility in the Cumnock area.
I commend every member of the staff there for the dedicated treatment and help they give the patients in their care.
Thanks to them and my present team of home from hospital carers, I am home again, confident I shall be able to resume normal life after a traumatic experience.
There is indeed light at the end of the tunnel.
Mrs Jean McMurdo
Glenmuir Road, Logan.
