THE highly respected folk singer, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Jack Rutter will grace Gwaenysgor Village Hall with his soaring vocals.
Hailing from West Yorkshire Rutter will head to the Village for Folk at the Hall next weekend.
His visit to North Wales follows the Friday, October 4 release of his second solo album Gold of Scar & Shale and continues the stripped back approach of its critically acclaimed predecessor Hills.
The songs are unearthed gems from the folk canon – almost all of them rare and many previously unrecorded – gathered from old books and source singers as Rutter uncovered material for this major new release of traditional song.
Relish in rejuvenated tales from folk of yore with Rutter in Gwaenysgor on Saturday, October 12 at 7pm.
Tickets are £10, with additional booking fee, to book visit therecordjournal.co.uk.
