THE Cumnock Parkinson’s Cafe celebrated its first birthday.
Volunteers and members enjoyed cake and music from a local ceilidh band as they reflected on how far the group has come in the past year. The party marking their first anniversary was held at the Netherthird Community Centre and encouraged more people to join.
Members of the Ayrshire Parkinson’s group, local health professionals and staff from Parkinson’s UK all attended the celebrations.
