CUMNOCK Academy pupils enjoyed visits to Bannockburn last week.
Pupils studying history were taken on two visits to the famous battleground and visitor centre on September 18 and September 19.
Pupils enjoyed some interactive learning about Bruce’s victory over the English army, with plenty of costumes and weaponry.
They also saw the battleground and restored commemorative monuments, including the iconic statue of Robert the Bruce by Pilkington Jackson, cast in shimmering bronze.
