Get your car washed by firefighters in Cumnock while helping a great cause.
Cumnock Fire Station crew are taking part in the Firefighters Charity’s National Car Wash League on Saturday, September 7.
The charity offers physical, psychological and practical support to serving and retired firefighters, fire personnel and their families.
Crew manager, Liam McBlain, is hoping to be washing cars on the day straight after completing a nightshift.
He said: “Anyone who gets their car washed will be supporting a good charity – it’s going to the Firefighters Charity.
“It also means a lot of people will get to see us. We’ve got a lot of new faces started at Cumnock Fire Station, so it gives the public a chance to meet them.”
The firefighters will be washing cars at the station from 10am-2pm.
Cost to get a car washed is a minimum donation of £2.
