East Ayrshire Foodbank is overwhelmed by the response from the community after flooding has caused chaos.
The extra reliance on foodbanks meant that many around the area where running at crisis point, which had a knock-on effect to those operating in Cumnock, Dalmellington and other areas that were not directly affected by the floods.
They continue to ask for donations. If anyone has any spare dry foods, such as noodle pots, pasta, tinned food and rice, please donate them to Belford Mill and Our Wee Place in Kilmarnock.
They also accept clothes, bedding, crockery and toiletries.
If you have been affected you can contact the Scottish Welfare Fund for assistance. on 01563 554400.
