PARENTS in Cumnock who have lost a baby are being reminded they are not alone.
Baby Loss Awareness week is launching in October with an annual Baby Memorial service in Cumnock Cemetery’s baby section.
Residents can also join a 5k sponsored walk on Saturday 28th September at 10.30am at Dumfries House Estate, to raise funds for Sands- stillbirth and neonatal death charity.
From 9th until 15th October there will be a memorial tree in Cumnock Funeralcare with some lovely knitted stars available that can be hung on Christmas trees in memory of their children.
Anyone who would like to put a memorial message on our tree is welcome visit the branch.
The baby memorial service will beheld on Saturday 12th October at 11.00am followed by cakes and a cuppa in the Chapel Hall.
