A DRIVER has been accused of having drugs in their van in Cumnock.
Cops pulled over the vehicle on Barrhill Road and made the discovery over the weekend.
The driver was also allegedly banned and had no insurance.
They are due to make an appearance in court today.
The van also had no valid MOT while on the road.
An investigation has now been launched by detectives.
Police said: "LPT officers stopped a van on Barhill Rd, Cumnock for its manner of driving, driver alleged disqualified from driving, no insurance, no MOT and on Bail and in possession of alleged drugs, custody for court on Monday."
