Doon Academy pupils praised for helping to tackle period poverty
DOON Academy S6 Pupils praised for doing their bit towards tackling period poverty.
The two girls, Kayla and Ellie, were given a helping hand from students in their year to make up bags.
Each bag was filled with sanitary products, which were then given to each girl in the year to use over the summer holidays.
The great deed comes after the Scottish Government started providing free sanitary products in schools.
