RESIDENTS are being offered the chance to shake things up this summer and become a cocktail connoisseur.
Dumfries House are inviting locals to taste drinks from across the globe as they host a series of luxurious cocktail-making workshops and drinks.
For those interested in exploring the history of Scotland’s national dram, a whisky tasting will take place on Friday 21 June. In addition to sampling five whiskies from across Scotland, guests will also be served a hearty two-course supper with coffee.
Shake it up with new cocktail classes at Dumfries House On Saturday, August 17, wine enthusiasts can spend an evening sampling a selection of sophisticated sparkling wines and elegant canapes in the company of Greg Reid from Corney and Barrow, one of the oldest independent wine merchants in the UK.
