TWO men appeared in court today in connection with a stabbing in Ayr on Wednesday night, May 29.
Paul Mason, 21, from Airdrie and Cameron Hill, 23 from Coatbridge were charged with assault to severe injury and danger of life. They made no plea and were both released on bail.
The victim was attacked during an altercation on Limond’s Wynd underpass and was rushed to Ayr hospital. His condition was described as stable.
A police spokesperson said on the incident: “Around 11.45pm on Wednesday, May 29 police were called to a report of a 27-year-old man being injured during an altercation on Limond’s Wynd underpass.
“Emergency services attended. The victim was taken to Ayr hospital for treatment to stab wounds. Medical staff describe his condition as stable."
