TWO men have been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Ayr last night which left a 27-year-old man in hospital.
The victim was attacked during an altercation on Limond’s Wynd underpass and was rushed to Ayr hospital.
A police spokesperson said: “Around 11.45pm on Wednesday, May 29 police were called to a report of a 27-year-old man being injured during an altercation on Limond’s Wynd underpass.
“Emergency services attended. The victim was taken to Ayr hospital for treatment to stab wounds. Medical staff describe his condition as stable.
“Two men aged 21 and 23 were arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
