ARTISTIC pupils from Doon Academy have travelled to Jupiter Artland in Edinburgh.
The students had a fantastic and exhausting day exploring the massive 100 acre park filled with contemporary art.
They explored the artwork of serval famous artists such as Phyllida Barlow, Charles Jencks, Mar Quinn and Pablo Bronstein.
After studying and exploring sculptures by these artists pupils took part in a workshop inspired by the Scottish artist Jim Lambie.
Students then found a special place within the grounds to hide an object, note or photograph that reflected who they are.
They made the special token from brightly coloured wool to cover the object before leaving it behind.
A spokesperson for the school said:“This was a unique experience and different from any of the indoor galleries we have been to.
"Pupils liked seeing the different styles of the pieces and techniques used.”
