Ayrshire students encouraged to go more digital for their health
AYRSHIRE College students are being encouraged to go digital to help them look after their health.
NHS Ayrshire and Arran, Ayrshire College and NHS 24 are now working in partnership and have provided three computer tablets to beused across the Ayrshire College campuses.
The tablets will be available at each of the Ayr, Kilmarnock and Kilwinning campus for students to use as and when they need them to access information on health services.
This will offer students access to information about a number of local services, such as Eyecare Ayrshire; minor ailments; community pharmacy sexual health and contraception clinics; and the Pharmacy First scheme, which is available in community pharmacies in Ayrshire.
