CUMNOCK and Doon Valley residents are being urged to discover their creative talents at local art classes.
East Ayrshire Leisure’s adult and young people’s art classes at the Dick Institute return with their new block later this month.
Mark Making in Art is set to kick off on Thursday, May 23.
Using paint, charcoal and ink with a variety of mark-making tools,you can explore techniques to create the loose and gestural painting of the Impressionists through to the structured and controlled hatching used often in the work of the Cubists.
These classes are for ages 14+ and will run weekly on Thursdays from 6pm to 7.30pm.
Booking is essential and all materials are provided.
