PREPARATIONS are getting underway for this year’s Holy Fair.

Mauchline Town Centre is excited to host this years iconic event featuring live music, dance, kids entertainment, food stalls, and much more.

A full lineup of music and poetry in the church, talented local musicians will play all day on the Newcomer’s Stage with a huge range of dance and music on the main stage.

There will also be over 50 stalls with local craft, food, drinks and delicacies from across Ayrshire and beyond.

This year the main stage will play host to the likes of singersongwriters Matthew Gibb and Davie Anderson, dancers from Sophie Oliver School of Danceand DCB Dance Co.

Residents can look forward to being entertained with music from the Auchinleck and Cumnock school concert bands with their conductor – tuba player Craig Anderson.

The afternoon is set to build up to the major headline act The Well Happy Band and music from Ebb and Flow.

Organisers for the event said: “This year’s Holy Fair has action in every corner of the town.

“There will be live music and dance. Children’s entertainment, funfair, children’s art competition and and over fifty stalls of local crafts, foods and delicacies so culture for all ages. Don’t miss out and join the fun on Saturday, May 25, 11am-5pm.
