CUMNOCK Academy have raised hundreds of pounds for mental health in the area.
They hosted an event Cumnock Come Dance which raked in over £800 for the Kris Boyd charity.
It comes after a spike in suicides in the local area.
Now the school want to make sure there is better support and understanding within their community.
The Charity said: “Massive thanks to head teacher Peter Gilchrist, organiser Hazel Malakoty and pupils from Cumnock Academy for the successful “Cumnock Come Dancing event” which took place on the 26th of February 2019 and raised a total of £826.92 for the Kris Boyd Charity.”
