WORKERS who have lost their life or been seriously hurt at work have been remembered.
East Ayrshire Council and the joint trades unions joined together last weekend to support International Workers’ Memorial Day.
A special memorial was held at Dean Castle Country Park to remember workers who have been killed or injured in the course of their work.
The event, which was organised by Kilmarnock and Loudoun Trades Union Council, saw wreaths being laid at the Trades Union Council Memorial Tree within the park.
