A MAN appeared in court today charged with the murder of Emma Faulds who went mising from her Kilmarnock home.

Ross Willox, 39, made no plea when he appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court this afternoon, May 10 charged with murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.

A forensic team descended on an address in Fairfield Park, Monkton and carried out an extensive search of a detached property in attempt to find clues in the search of missing Emma. The street was cordoned off and nearby woods were also searched.

Police announced earlier this week they feared that Emma may have come to harm, but no body has been found.

The last confirmed sighting of Emma was around 9.10pm on Sunday, April 28 at Fairfield Park.
