AN ICONIC steam train has paid a visit to Auchinleck.
An Eagle eyed resident caught a snap of the stunning vision as it pulled into the local train station.
The quick photographer, Linda Wilson, just became a member of the Cumnock Chronicle camera club and shared pictures with the group.
It comes after train buffs of all ages descended on East Ayrshire to take a trip back in time to the golden age of steam.
The steam train was expected to pass New Cumnock this morning with lucky locallys trying to sneak a peak.
It headed from Edinburgh towards Glasgow and also paid a visit to Mauchline, Troon, and Ayr yesterday.
After arriving at Troon around noon it then headed straight for Prestwick.
The train is on a tour of Great Britain organised by the the Railway Touring Company.
