WRESTLING fans were treated to a chokeslam night of entertainment when some of the sports biggest stars took to the ring.
The British Championship Wrestling (BCW) event took place in Kilmarnock’s Grand Hall last Friday – and it did not disappoint.
Some of the sport’s biggest names from across the globe made their way to the event and fans could not have been happier.
The Grand Hall was fit to burst with wrestling megafans who were as much a part of the spectacle as the wrestlers themselves.
Homegrown talent Grado, proved to be the people’s favourite on the night getting a brainbusting welcome from the crowd.
He danced down the ramp to monstrous cheers from his fans and into the ring to meet his tag-team partner Kenny Williams, who also proved to be a big hit.
The pair put on a showstopping effort against Jack Jester and Wolfgang, eventually beating the pair.
The event was topped off by the main event - a triple slam showdown between Ring-villan PAC, aka WWE’s Neville , Coatbridge-based BT Gunn and American Jody Fleisch in the fight for the BCW Heavyweight Championship.
In the end Scot BT Gunn took the belt despite a gallant effort from both Fleisch and PAC.
