Police launch campaign to stop fraudsters targeting vulnerable residents
POLICE are desperately trying to stop fraudsters targetting local residents.
Cumnock cops and East Ayrshire Council have teamed up to launch their Shut Out Scammers campaign.
The project wants to highlight the work undertaken by police and partners to catch criminals involved in doorstep crime.
Their work will help prevent local people falling victim to scammers by educating them about warning signs and how to avoid the criminals.
