FOOD hygiene courses are currently being offered by East Ayrshire Council.

The courses are accredited by the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland courses (REHIS) and are industry recognised qualifications essential for all those working in food production or processing.

Introduction to Food Hygiene is a non-examined food hygiene course aimed primarily at food handlers that are entering the food industry for the first time.

It comes as local schools keep scooping awards for their hygiene and food standards.
