Guide Dogs benefit thanks to funding boost from Auchinleck Community Development Initiative
AUCHINLECK Community Development Initiative have donated £500 to the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
It comes after a year of fundraising at various community events. Robert Blackwood, a local guide dogowner, visited the group to collect a donation on behalf of the charity.
Robert said: “Every penny of our donation will help another person who is blind or partially sighted get out and about and do the things many of us take for granted.”
