SCOTLAND’S Chief Pharmaceutical Officer was impressed by Mauchline’s pharmacy work.
Rose Marie Parr paid a visit to Well Mauchline on Loudoun Street, to see how the team creates a better experience for the customer as they simplify the processes in their pharmacy.
Staff were happy to talk her through the process. She recognised community pharmacy as an integral part of the NHS and whilst visiting they talked all things pharmacy, including the importance of local residents going to their pharmacy first for free advice on the best treatment for a wide range of illnesses and minor ailments, to help reduce pressure on GP surgeries and A&E.
Well Pharmacy is the third largest pharmacy chain in the UK with over 760 pharmacies and 7,000 employees. Well Pharmacy is committed to building the best prescription experience in the UK and recently launched its online pharmacy, allowing customers in England to get their NHS prescriptions delivered to their door, for free.
Well wants all customers to make the most of their health, and the services are provided by highly trained pharmacists, who are available without having to make an appointment. The pharmacy provides, prescriptions management, healthcare advice, treatment for minor ailments, and health and wellbeing products.
