RESIDENTS in Ayrshire would pay over £80 for a guaranteed good night’s sleep, according to a recent study.

Brits on average claim that they get just three nights of perfect sleep per week, but Bedstar found that those living in Ayrshire would pay £84.85 for a solid night’s kip.

The survey spoke to over 2,200 people living in the UK, but people suffering from insomnia in Ayrshire would pay a hefty sum to sleep well.

The study uncovered that people in the media, engineering and education sectors would all pay over £80 for a good night’s sleep.

However, those working in hospitality or legal practice appear to be happier with their sleeping patterns, with both happy to pay a little over £50 per night.
