A SAFE haven for terminally ill children has opened its doors for the first time.
Whiteley’s Retreat in Ayr has given a sneak peek of it’s state-of-the-art, home-from-home facilities.
The centre has been opened to replace Malcolm Sargent House which closed down in 2016.
Whiteley’s retreat offers therapeutic short breaks for children, young people and their families with cancer and life altering illnesses.
Families from across the UK who are dealing with cancer and other illnesses have already booked up to visit and by the smiles in the faces of its first visitors, they won’t be disappointed.
