NEW Cumnock Young Farmers Club have raised nearly £20,000 for the Ayrshire Hospice.
The group handed over a bumper cheque on Sunday, December 9 after a 24hr triathlon – followed by a charity auction and dance in September – raised £19,551.02.
Secretary Robyn Smith said: "On Friday, September 28 we started a 24 hour triathlon, followed by a charity auction and dance on Saturday, September 29. We had 26 members taking part in the triathlon and over 200 people attending the dance and charity auction.
"We managed to raise an amazing £19,551.02 for the fantastic charity that is the Ayrshire Hospice."
