KELLOHOLM and Kirkconnel Christmas lights’ switch on was a great success.
Most of the activity took place in St Conal’s Square and Kirkconnel Miners Memorial Centre.
Lawrie O’Connor. Kirkconnel and Kelloholm Children’s Gala Queen for 2018, flicked the switch to cheers from the crowd.
Entertainment was by Upper Nithsdale Youth Pipe Band and Sanquhar Silver Band while there was a fun fair, Christmas stalls and hot snacks available.
