TO Celebrate Year of Young People, East Ayrshire Leisure, kindly sponsored by Event Scotland, asked young people to submit their entries for the Generation Z Creative Awards showing what it means to be a young person in 2018.
The winners have been announced and will be on display Dick Institute Young Peoples Gallery until February 2019.
The entries for Young Writer, Young Filmmaker and Young Digital Artist have been judged and all represent something about our current generation of young people and how they perceive and express themselves and the world around them, through a range of art forms. Each category was judged by professional judges.
All award winners also won a free class visit to the Michael Morpurgo exhibition but the overall winner of the night was Max McGregor, Young Filmmaker of the Year in the 12-15 years category who took home an Ipad mini.
Shortlisted entries and winners will be showcased at the Dick Institute in February 2019.
