MEMBERS of Things Tae Dae in Cumnock have started learning to swim at the Visions Centre.
In conjunction with Vibrant Communities, a three-year project has been introduced with support from the team at All Ability Sport.
Currently, there are two groups being taught, one with the Jets instructor and the other with the Dolphins tutor. But eventually, it is hoped to run separate sessions according to peoples’ ability.
Around 14 members are regularly attending the sessions, which run for two hours, and everyone is enjoying them, including two members who could already swim — and are now helping teach their colleagues.
