DUMFRIES House was the scene for the biggest fireworks display in Scotland on Saturday, November 3.
Around 2.5 tonnes of fireworks went up in smoke during the half-hour display as over 5,000 spectators packed in to watch the stunning show.
The explosives were choreographed to a musical soundtrack and complimented by lasers, lighting, flames and 12 performers.
Spectators came from as far as Spain for the display and they were not disappointed. A team of eight technicians took almost a week to set up the display which needed 20 technical staff on the night to ensure everything ran smoothly.
Gordon Neil, deputy executive director of The Prince’s Foundation at Dumfries House, said: “We are proud to have staged the largest fireworks display in Scotland at Dumfries House last weekend. The fireworks are always one of our most popular community events and all the profits from this year’s ticket sales will be used to support the work of The Prince’s Foundation.”
