STAGECOACH drivers have been warned after a bus was attacked in Drongan on Wednesday night, October 24.
A gang of youths blockaded bus routes in the town before proceeding to shine a green laser into the driver's eyes.
Bus drivers have now been told to avoid the area if the attacks happen again.
Stagecoach West Scotland updated customers via Twitter on Thursday morning, October 25.
They posted: "Ayr service update: Due to youths creating barriers across bus routes in Drongan and shining a green laser in our drivers eyes, our drivers have been advised if it happens again not to operate via Drongan.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but safety is paramount."
We contacted Stagecoach about the incident but they declined to comment further.
