A PATNA mum has raised over £400 for the neonatal unit at Crosshouse Hospital by taking part in the Highland Fling bungee jump at Killicrankie.

Tammi Drynan’s son Parker received three weeks care at the neonatal unit in April 2016 when he was born seven weeks early after an emergency C-section.

The 40m bungee jump itself was a Christmas present, but Tammi decided to use it to raise money for the neonatal unit as a thank you.

Tammi said: “I would like to say thank you to all of the staff in the neonatal unit, but especially Lesley Brown.

“Without her being there for the first few days we would have been lost. We would also like to thank Project Linus Ayrshire for Parker’s blanket, he takes it everywhere with him!”

Caroline Blake, clinical midwife manager neonatal services thanked Tammi for the £424 donation.

She said: “We are delighted to receive this donation and to see Parker and his family again.

“It means so much to us to be appreciated in this way and to hear all about how our little visitors are doing now.”
