Auchinleck Early Childhood Centre’s Explorers’ Room held a messy stay and play session for children and parents to enjoy.
This was an opportunity for visitors to see and take part in some of the experiences that their children explore and investigate.
The session had everyone being active outside from popping bubbles and being creative to having a go at spray painting art.
Exploration and mess continued inside where custard, rice pudding, coloured spaghetti and a jelly swamp created lots of fun for all.
Glitter sand and corn on the cob paint rolling also added to the enjoyment and mess of the day.
Parents enjoyed the day as much as anyone and left with a few more fun ideas to do at home with their child.
Meanwhile, the youngsters had a ball making a mess and not getting into trouble.
