MEMBERS of the S6 Charity Group at Sanquhar Academy staged a successful fundraising Race For Life at the school.
Pupils from all classes were encouraged to take part while a non-uniform Day was declared by the head teacher.
Run over 5k, the participants followed a course that took them into the countryside before returning to the school and the finish line at the athletics track.
All finishers received a medal while there were lots of pink and blue on show in support of the chosen charity, Cancer Research UK.
