PROFESSIONAL fraudsters are operating again in the area with yet another ploy to access people's cash.
Neighbourhood Watch Scotland have issued a scam alert after it was confirmed that there have been several victims in the Cumnock and Mauchline areas.
A spokesman for the group told the Chronicle: " We’ve seen an increase in reports about fake Netflix emails claiming that there’s an issue with your account, or that your account has been suspended.
"The email states that you need to update your account details in order to resolve the problem but the link leads to genuine-looking Netflix phishing websites designed to steal your username and password, as well as payment details."
