A new breakfast club has been launched for pupils at Muirkirk Primary School.
The school received funding of £3,000 from Cash 4 Kids to set it up and the charity visited on Tuesday, September 4 for the official launch.
Head teacher Anne McLean said: “The breakfast club started on the first day back in August and Cash 4 Kids came along for the launch on Tuesday.
“We decided on a French theme for the launch so pupils got a chance to try croissants, French bread etc.
“It was a great success with more than 40 pupils – that’s over a third of the school.”
