CATRINE Primary School celebrated its 50th anniversary by holding an open day at the school.
Parents were joined by members of the local community as they took a step back in time to see the history of the school researched by Catrine’s current pupils.
Each class looked into a different decade from the school’s history and collected class photographs, newspaper clippings, school programmes and any special memories and stories from their predecessors.
East Ayrshire Provost Jim Todd also popped in to the open day as all the hard work by the kids went on display.
Photographer Ken McKissock was there to capture all the festivities.
