EMPTY beds at East Ayrshire Community Hospital continue to cause ongoing concerns.
Suggestions have been made that GP doctors are not admitting patients as they have not had a pay rise in 12 years and have asked NHS Ayrshire and Arran for a meeting.
It is being claimed that health board bosses are happy with this scenario as it enables them to bring more advanced nurse practitioners to do the work of GPs, as a money saving policy.
