SCIAF FUNDING: St Partick's Primary raised almost £1,500
PUPILS at St Patrick’s Primary School in Auchinleck have been celebrating after raising nearly £1,500 for the Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund (SCIAF).
Frank Torbet from the charity headed over to the school to receive a cheque for £1,494.84.
A spokesperson for the school said: “Mr Torbet came along to accept the cheque and tell the pupils about where the money would be spent.
“The pupils raised this fantastic amount through lots of fundraising activities including Bring and Buy Sale, Job Week, Easter Egg Raffle and an Easter Quiz.”
