A CUMNOCK woman has admitted buying £1,600-worth of goods on the internet using someone else’s bank card.

Cassandra McDonald’s three counts of fraud were from an address in High Street, Stewarton, between May 2016 and July 2017.

The 27-year-old bought goods to the value of £418.60 from Amazon using a bank card between May 15, 2016 and July 20, 2017.

She also pretended to be the woman so she could use her bank card to pay her rent and insurance to East Ayrshire Council to the value of £905, between September 21, 2016 and June 5, 2017.

McDonald, of Walker Court, Cumnock, also spent £276.40 on the food delivery website Just Eat, between October 4, 2016 and July 1, 2017, again using the same bank card.

McDonald pled guilty to all three charges when she appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week. She was bailed and the case was adjourned for reports.

She will return to court later this month for sentencing.
